MISSION STATEMENT
Your Perfect Footwear Foundation empowers underserved youth by providing new athletic footwear and access to resources that support academic success, literacy, socialization and personal development. Through positive reinforcement, financial education, and mentorship, we help students overcome barriers to achievement and build the confidence they need to thrive in school and beyond.
We provide a unique experience at a retail shoe store where the deserving student will personally pick out their "Perfect Footwear".
We are more than just shoes! We are something BIGGER—education, opportunity, and empowerment.

OVERVIEW OF OUR PROGRAMS
Books & Banks: Financial Literacy for your future
It is a six-week program equipping underserved high school students with essential financial literacy, career readiness, and workforce preparation skills. Through mentorship, real-world financial education, and professional footwear support, students gain the confidence and resources needed for long-term economic success.
The Perfect Fit
Rewarding K-12 students with a field trip from school to select a brand-name pair of shoes off the shelf for their academic achievements and good behavior. By promoting literacy, confidence, and self-esteem, the program empowers students to set goals, develop perseverance, and experience the joy of earning through hard work and dedication.
Step into Story Time Book Club
It is a eight-week literacy program, in partnership with EDU Global, designed to enhance vocabulary, critical thinking, and reading comprehension while building confidence and social-emotional skills. Through engaging books, interactive discussions, and guided activities, children develop a deeper love for reading, improve their communication abilities, and strengthen problem-solving skills.
Battle Born Youth Leadership
It's a year long program, broken up into quarters, in partnership with AFP. Empowering youth to become changemakers through hands-on advocacy, policy education, and leadership training. Participants build communication, storytelling, and public speaking skills while engaging with leaders to drive real community impact.

Your Perfect Footwear Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that celebrates students' achievements by providing new sneakers to underserved youth. Founded by Janea Sizemore, this organization is inspired by her own journey of resilience, ambition, and a deep commitment to empowering others.
Growing up in a single-parent household in the South, Janea faced challenges that could have held her back. As a young Black woman, she experienced firsthand the limitations of her circumstances but was determined to break through them. Graduating high school at just 16, she went on to earn two college degrees, all while holding onto her humble beginnings. For Janea, something as simple as a new pair of shoes was once a luxury—now, she’s working to ensure today’s youth don’t have to feel the same limitations.
With Your Perfect Footwear Foundation, Janea provides more than just footwear. Every pair of shoes represents confidence, pride, and the belief that all children deserve a strong start. Monthly events allow students to select their "perfect footwear" alongside their families in a retail setting, offering an experience that instills a sense of self-worth and achievement. Through these interactions, the foundation fosters a positive mindset, empowering students to reach their full potential.

Get to know Janea!
Janea Sizemore is the Founder and Executive Director of Your Perfect Footwear Foundation, a Las Vegas nonprofit dedicated to empowering underserved youth through confidence-building experiences, academic motivation, and essential life skills. She holds degrees in Business Administration and Allied Health, bringing a strong blend of leadership, program design, and community stewardship to her work.
Driven by her belief that meaningful change starts with opportunity, Janea created a model that combines education, skill development, and positive reinforcement. Through her flagship initiative, The Perfect Fit Program, students earn a brand-new pair of athletic shoes by demonstrating academic effort, attendance, and positive behavior. This tangible incentive reinforces commitment, boosts self-esteem, and helps students develop the mindset and discipline needed to succeed.
Janea also leads programs focused on literacy, financial education, workforce readiness, and leadership skills, ensuring youth gain tools that carry them into adulthood. Her approach centers on helping students build strong communication abilities, goal-setting habits, decision-making skills, and personal accountability — core strengths that open doors far beyond the classroom.
In addition to her nonprofit leadership, Janea is an experienced payroll specialist, supporting small businesses with compliant systems, operational efficiency, and workforce solutions. Her understanding of both business operations and youth development gives her a unique perspective on how structure, education, and opportunity shape long-term success.
At the heart of her mission is a simple but powerful belief: every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and capable of achieving more than their circumstances suggest.
